About the Author

Dr. Evan P. Bailey is a pediatric pulmonologist. He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, completed residency and fellowship at Boston Children’s hospital and has been in practice for over 15 years. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development and Head of Medical Affairs at Applied Therapeutics – a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company based in New York, NY, Evan was previously a Medical Director at Vertex where he launched Trikafta- a medication that has transformed the outcome for people living with Cystic Fibrosis. Evan continues to see patients in a General Pediatrics clinic outside Boston.

He currently lives south of Boston with his partner and five children. Aside from coaching soccer and attending a myriad of his children’s sports practices and games, he enjoys working out as often as he can. Evan is also passionate about anything and everything involving cars, especially anything that heralds from Germany. He also makes a mean chocolate chip cookie and scone.
